New to dance?
You don’t need any previous dance experience to join Euphorix. Our friendly classes welcome complete beginners, as well as children who have danced before.
We accept children from 2½ years old. All children must be fully toilet trained before attending.
Learning and Progression
Euphorix is a non-competitive dance school, and we do not take formal dance exams.
However, every class follows our progressive weekly dance programme. Children develop their dance skills, technique, strength, coordination and confidence at a pace suitable for their age and ability.
Throughout the year, our dancers also work towards performing in our annual Summer Show.
Our Class Styles
The words Tiny, Pre-Mini, Mini, Junior and Senior indicate the age or level of the class. The descriptions below explain the different dance styles we offer.
A fun introduction to dance for our youngest pupils. Children explore music and movement through simple routines, imaginative activities and age-appropriate dance exercises. Classes help develop coordination, rhythm, confidence and independence.
These classes combine two important dance styles. Ballet develops posture, balance, control and technique, while jazz introduces energetic movement, kicks, turns, leaps and lively routines.
An energetic and upbeat style using modern music and age-appropriate choreography.Children develop musicality, coordination, confidence and performance skills while learning fun street and commercial-inspired routines.
A flowing and expressive dance style combined with safe stretching and flexibility work. Dancers develop control, strength and musicality while learning to communicate emotion through movement.
Progressive Ballet Technique is a specialist programme that supports ballet and general dance training. Using carefully designed exercises and equipment such as exercise balls, dancers develop core strength, posture, balance, control and a better understanding of correct technique.
Lyrical Acro combines expressive dance movement with carefully taught acrobatic skills.Children work on flexibility, strength, balance and control while learning how to include acro elements safely within their routines.
